How verification and publishing status work

Trustiks does not publish an AI's first read automatically. Registration, domain-email confirmation and an explicit publishing choice are required.

  1. Stage 1

    AI-extracted draft

Trustiks' AI reads the public website and drafts a profile. It can contain gaps, duplicate entries or misclassified products — it isn't reviewed or endorsed by anyone yet.

  2. Stage 2

    Domain-email confirmed

The registrant confirms an email address on the analysed company's domain. This blocks unrelated accounts from claiming and publishing that domain.

  3. Stage 3

    Free or Paid decision

Free publishes the AI draft exactly as shown after explicit consent. Paid unlocks correction, fact confirmation, structured formats and controlled rescans.

  4. Stage 4

    Published

An explicit Publish action creates the public profile. Free receives HTML and sitemap discovery; Paid also receives JSON, embedded Schema.org/JSON-LD, llms.txt and controlled updates.

Ways to verify domain ownership

Domain-email confirmation is active today. Additional technical verification methods are planned for businesses that cannot use a domain mailbox.

Active

Domain email

Active now: confirm registration from an email address on the company's own domain.

Planned

DNS TXT record

Add a TXT record with a Trustiks-provided value to the domain's DNS settings.

Planned

Meta tag

Add a verification meta tag to the site's homepage HTML head.

Planned

HTML file

Upload a Trustiks-provided file to the website's root so it's reachable at a known URL.

A profile is never marked Domain Verified before the configured ownership check succeeds. DNS, meta-tag and HTML-file verification are not live yet.

AI drafts, owners choose

The AI extraction step never publishes anything by itself. A Free owner may publish the draft exactly as shown. A Paid owner can correct and confirm facts; later rescans produce proposed changes rather than silently replacing the live profile.
