Privacy Policy
This page explains what data Trustiks collects, why, and how you can access, correct or delete it.
Who this applies to
This policy covers Trustiks ("we", "us"), the account holder who registers and manages a business profile ("you"), and visitors who view a published public profile or the anonymous demo on the homepage.
What we collect
- Account data: the email address and password you register with (password hashing and session management are handled by our authentication provider, Supabase — we never see or store your plain-text password).
- Business profile data: the public website URL you submit, the structured facts our AI extracts from your site's public pages (legal name, description, products, services, contacts, addresses and similar), and any corrections you make as a Paid subscriber.
- Payment data: Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Trustiks never receives or stores your card number — only a subscription status and a Stripe customer/subscription reference.
- Anonymous product analytics: after you accept the cookie banner, we record page views, session duration and funnel milestones (e.g. "demo started") using a first-party, signed session identifier. We do not record form contents, the URLs you analyse, or your raw IP address, and analytics data is deleted after 180 days.
How we use it
- To operate your account and the profile-analysis pipeline you request.
- To process Paid subscription payments and manage billing.
- To respond to support, privacy and security requests.
- To understand aggregate product usage and improve Trustiks.
We do not sell your data, and we do not use it to train third-party AI models.
Data retention
Account and profile data is kept for as long as your account is active. Anonymous demo results and analytics events are retained for 180 days and then deleted. A published public profile remains visible until you unpublish it or delete your account.
Cookies
We use a strictly necessary, HttpOnly session cookie to keep you signed in, and — only after you accept the cookie banner — a first-party analytics cookie described above. We do not use third-party advertising cookies.
Your rights
You can review and correct your published business facts directly from the profile editor if you are a Paid subscriber. For any other request — access, correction, deletion, or a copy of your data — contact privacy@trustiks.com. We will respond to verified requests within a reasonable time.
Changes to this policy
If we make a material change to how we handle your data, we will update the date at the top of this page.
